Rest DayThe Unexpected

Dealing with the unexpected is going to be your biggest challenge during this program, much like any other. It’s wishful thinking to believe that you won’t encounter any obstacles along your way. Life events will always happen when you need them the least! Learning how to cope and prepare for the unexpected is the best option when you plan on being successful.

  • You will be invited to social events which will always involve food and drinks. Make a statement on social media or to your friends that you’re doing this plan and you won’t be drinking or eating junk food throughout this program. This will also help keep you accountable!
  • You might get ill. If you do, be sure to rest and drink plenty of water – add HYDRA-CHARGE and some berries for antioxidants - and stay away from the gym until you’ve recovered. At most, when you start to feel better, do some light cardio to keep the blood pumping. Training requires energy, as does recovery. If you try to train while your body is attempting to fight an illness, you’re sapping your energy and taking the focus off recovery – often prolonging the illness.
  • Prepare your meals four days in advance and put some in the freezer. This way, when you run low on food, you can pull it out of the freezer, let it defrost, and get on with your day. Things will crop up, so prepare for those eventualities or be prepared to fail.
