The keys to fat loss are training and nutrition, but you’ll significantly help accelerate your success when you follow the supplement strategy I provide. While you can’t achieve amazing fat-loss results by taking supplements without hard dieting and training with beast-like intensity, supplements are a key component to my training and nutrition advice on Project Inferno.

These are the supplements I use on a daily basis, and those that I think you should use to help accelerate your fat loss.

BEFORE EARLY-MORNING CARDIO

You should take these supplements every morning when you awake, before you perform your morning cardio.

PurCaf® Organic Caffeine Caffeine provides multiple benefits, but I like to use PurCaf® organic caffeine for its unparalleled, smooth sustained energy for added intensity during my workouts. If you wake up and feel a little groggy, then Kaged Muscle’s PurCaf® helps jumpstart your day.

Clean Burn This product delivers green tea extract, Gymnema sylvestre extract, patented Carnipure® (L-Carnitine), patented Capsimax® (capsicum fruit) and patented ChromeMate® (chromium complex). You'll want a weight-loss supplement advantage when losing weight on Project Inferno.

Carnitine Research shows that carnitine helps release free fatty acids that your body can use for energy. You’ll perform your morning cardio on an empty stomach to encourage results. Kaged Muscle’s patented Carnipure® L-Carnitine is a great choice for your stack.

 

DURING EARLY-MORNING CARDIO

During these lengthy morning cardio sessions, you need to continue to provide your body with nutrients that contain very few calories. These supplements support your overall goals while helping to prevent muscle breakdown.

Amino Synergy This full-spectrum amino-acid product provides the nine essential amino acids you need to help fuel your muscles during workouts. The leucine-enriched EAAs formula helps combat muscle catabolism (breakdown) and support protein synthesis while you’re performing cardio before you consume your first whole-food meal. It also contains 500 mg of freeze-dried coconut water powder.

Hydra-Charge® This product delivers five essential electrolytes to your muscle cells to help your grueling training efforts. It also contains a unique blend of fruit, vegetable, and herbal extracts for antioxidant support, plus taurine to help boost performance.

 

 

MEAL ONE

I like to make sure I get in a multi to help ensure I don’t have micronutrient deficits when I’m cutting calories and limiting foods. You should consume a potent multi-vitamin/mineral supplement with your first whole-food meal for optimal absorption.

PRE-WEIGHT-TRAINING SUPPS

Before you hit the gym to weight train, I highly recommend that you break down your supplementation into two stages. The first should come about 60 minutes before you work out, and the other should be ingested about 30 minutes ahead of training. Here’s more about the supplements I recommend that you take during each of these stages:

STAGE ONE

Micropure Whey Protein Isolate I take in this fast-digesting whey protein product before my weight-training workouts. I like this source of protein because it doesn’t bloat me, and it provides fast-digesting protein that supports musclebuilding results from my workouts. I like to take it in about 60 minutes before workouts, separate from my other pre-workout supps. I mix Micropure Whey Protein Isolate with cream of brown rice and blueberries because I want to get quality calories that help protect my muscle mass and fuel me during my workouts.

 

 

STAGE TWO   

Pre-Kaged I like to take this pre-workout product about 30 minutes before each weight-training workout. Pre-Kaged contains key ingredients to support mental focus and provides your body with ingredients that help stimulate better performance. The product contains organic caffeine from PurCaf™, fermented BCAAs, pure L-citrulline, patented CarnoSyn beta-alanine, patented BetaPower betaine, patented Creatine HCl, and others that help drive you for far better workouts.

Pure Citrulline This amino acid increases your body’s production of arginine (another amino acid) that ultimately increases nitric oxide (NO). The last is a gas molecule that promotes vasodilation (expanse of your veins), which is believed to allow for greater delivery of blood, oxygen, and nutrients to the muscles you're training. 

Amino Synergy This second serving of this amino acid product provides my muscles with easily accessible EAAs while keeping overall calorie consumption low.**

 

**Note: Being a top-level pro and weighing in around 300 lb. at the start of my fat loss phase, my nutritional requirements are much more intense than the average person. While I take Amino Synergy multiple times per day during this program, you should always follow Kaged Muscle’s label directions. To help keep your intake of products like Amino Synergy within the recommended guidelines, you can substitute Amino Synergy for Hydra-Charge.

INTRA-WEIGHT-TRAINING WORKOUT

You can’t count on all of your supplements driving you through long workouts until you take your recovery supps. One of the best strategies that serious bodybuilders rely on is supplementing during workouts, in addition to before and after.

In-Kaged Kaged Muscle designed this product to be taken during workouts. It fuels muscle protein synthesis, boosts energy and intensity and supports muscle pumps. It does so with the quality ingredients it contains, including fermented BCAAs (leucine, isoleucine, valine), pure L-citrulline, patented CarnoSyn beta-alanine, PurCaf organic caffeine and coconut water among others.

Amino Synergy I take in another booster shot of Amino Synergy or, alternatively, get in a dose of Hydra-Charge if you haven’t taken a second dose of that product.**

 

Supplement Swap:

Hydra-Charge I recommend that you get in two doses of Amino Synergy each day. If you’ve already had two servings of Amino Synergy, then take in Hydra-Charge during your workout. It provides the key electrolytes you need to help keep you hydrated.

 

MEAL FIVE

Multivitamin Consume a quality multi-vitamin/mineral supplement with your last whole-food meal of the day. 

BEDTIME SUPPS

You'll also want to get in nutrients before you sleep because this is the time when your body can go catabolic, meaning your body breaks down muscle tissue. To help combat this I take in these supplements shortly before bedtime:

Kasein This premium-quality slow-digesting protein helps deliver amino acids for several hours. My go-to flavor is chocolate, which I like to mix with water into a protein pudding-like consistency.
Glutamine Glutamine plays an important role in muscle protein synthesis. It’s a great supplement to take in before bedtime alongside casein protein.

Many companies source their ingredients from cheap, lower-quality raw materials. I take Kaged Muscle supplements because the ingredients come from high-quality reputable sources, providing what you see on the label.
