Chocolate Coconut Waffles

These quick and easy chocolate coconut waffles put a tropical spin on a morning favorite, topped with fresh berries.

Chocolate Coconut Waffles

Serves: 2*   

Ingredients:

  • 5 egg whites

  • 1 medium banana

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

  • 1/4 cup coconut flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp organic cacao powder

  • 1 scoop Kasein (Chocolate Shake flavor)

 

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix with a hand blender until smooth.

  2. Preheat a waffle iron, spraying with cooking spray or coconut oil.

  3. Place two tablespoons of batter into each cavity of the waffle maker and cook until as crunchy as desired.

  4. Serve topped with fresh berries.

227 calories, 27 g protein, 30 g carbs, 4 g fat  

*Makes 3 small waffles per serving. One waffle consists of about two tablespoons of batter.
