Protein cereal can be made by utilizing a minimal amount of ingredients. What must be considered, though, is the components that make up the protein cereal. To begin, we will state that protein cereal consists of the following ingredients: protein powder, cereal, and a liquid.

First, the relationship between protein powder and cereal must be furthered. This relationship is one that must be nurtured and developed over a period of time. Finding the perfect combination of protein powder flavoring and cereal choice is dependent on the user. With this said, the golden rule is to NEVER antagonize these two pieces to protein cereal. An example of antagonizing these pieces is using a fruity-flavored protein powder with a chocolate cereal. If these two can have a strong, uniformed relationship, you are one step closer to crafting your art.

Second, the choice and amount of liquid added to the protein cereal must be determined. The golden rule of this step is to NEVER use water as your source of liquid for protein cereal. This is the largest foul to this art and should never be performed after reading this article. We recommend the following sources of liquid to be used in your protein cereal:

  • Cow milk (Whole, 2%, 1%, Skim)
  • Almond milk
  • Soy milk
  • Coconut milk
  • Cashew milk

Along with this, the amount of liquid added must be perfected. This too is dependent on the user, as the preferred consistency of the liquid is different for all. Find an amount of liquid that works well with the protein powder being added and you will be alright.
