Time-release protein
Exposure to moisture or heat may cause powder to clump or harden. Store in a cool, dry place, avoid direct sunlight, humidity and high temperatures. Replace lid securely after use. This product contains a silica gel pack. Do not eat. Contents may settle during shipping. Sold by weight, not volume.
Notice:
Casein proteins are pH sensitive causing them to thicken in the acidic environment of the stomach. The proteins’ ability to form a gel in the stomach slows down the digestion rate allowing for a sustained release of amino acids. This makes casein ideal for nighttime or prolonged periods throughout the day without protein.
We are going to reveal some tricks used by many leading supplement companies. This may ruffle some feathers; however, it is our job to make sure you get the facts so you can purchase based on factual knowledge and not marketing hype that over promises and under delivers. If you are serious with your supplements and training, you owe it to yourself to know these facts before purchasing another casein supplement. There are many low-cost manufacturing methods for casein protein that many top brands use to cut corners with your results, while increasing their bottom line by using cheaply made ingredients that save them money.
The type used in the French study was Micellar Casein, which is isolated from milk by filtration, rather than by use of acid or heat. The filtration method we use preserves the structural integrity of the protein, unlike what occurs in other processing methods that many others use. When heat or acid is used to separate casein out of milk, the micelle’s structures are altered, resulting in a loss of biological activity and digestibility.
Calcium Caseinate is casein protein which has been separated from skimmed milk with the use of an acid. This means the final protein is not in its original Micellar structure.
After the casein has been precipitated by acid, the mixture is heated again. This causes the protein to further thermolyze and degrade into smaller components, which agglomerate together to form clumps of curd. The curd is then dewatered by high-sheer centrifuging. At this point, the casein has been treated with acid and heat, which can harm the integrity of the protein.
Raw milk casein is made out of a complex group of protein clusters called micelles, which are bound with calcium, phosphate, and citrate ions and exist at a neutral pH of approximately 6.6, roughly the same as your body’s pH. Native Micellar Casein complements your body’s acid-base balance and will not cause an acidic effect. That’s unlike many top brands’ caseins, which are highly acidifying and need to be chemically alkalized to be edible.
How can you tell which kind of casein you are taking? In the nutrition panel the first ingredient listed should be Micellar Casein. If the brand you are taking is not Micellar Casein, then it’s time for a trade-in.
Example: Using a pair of pliers to remove a screw versus using a screwdriver—one is more efficient at getting the job done, however, both will work. Use RE-KAGED post workout or at breakfast and then use the Micellar Kasein before bed.
The reasons:
During the day and after exercise your muscles need fast-digesting protein such as whey to counteract the catabolic effect of physical exercise and help with recovery and muscle growth.
However, at night Kasein is king and has the anabolic advantage over longer periods of time due its ability to induce a slow and steady release of amino acids to your muscles for several hours, while you sleep.
If you are currently not feeding your body with a sustained release of high-quality amino acids while you sleep, you are making a BIG mistake! Nighttime is one of the most critical windows to give your muscles a steady supply of amino acids in order to remain nitrogen positive. This is one major way Kris Gethin can support his recovery so he can annihilate his regular DTP workouts and cardio sessions and grow year-after-year.

Hi Ronald! Thanks for the feedback! Which flavor would you say is your favorite?! Also, any flavors you'd like to see in the future? Best, Imer A. Kaged Muscle
This was my first experience taking casein protein and I have enjoyed KM's Kasein thoroughly. It was much thicker than I had anticipated and would recommend using more water than prescribed. The flavor is awesome though and it mixes well. I definitely recommend!
Hi Andy, Thank you so much for the feedback! Stoked to hear you're enjoying the Kasein! Have you tried creating a pudding with the Kasein? Just put a scoop into a bowl and slowly add water and mix until it creates the pudding consistency. It's delish! Appreciate all the love and support! All the best, Imer A. Kaged Muscle
